Three Ways to Arrive
Whether you are flying, crossing a land border or arriving by sea, prepare your MDAC information before you travel if MDAC requirements apply to you.
Travelling without a tourist visa does not automatically mean you are exempt from MDAC requirements.

Flying to Malaysia? Prepare Your MDAC
Travellers subject to MDAC requirements should prepare an MDAC when arriving through a Malaysian airport.
Have your passport details, expected arrival date, arrival airport and accommodation details ready.
Our MDAC assistance service helps you organise your information for your upcoming flight.
Crossing a Malaysian Land Border? Prepare Your MDAC
Travellers subject to MDAC requirements should also prepare an MDAC when entering through a Malaysian land border.
Whether you travel by car, bus or another form of ground transport, have your passport details, expected arrival date, border crossing and accommodation details ready.
Our MDAC assistance service helps you prepare your information for your intended land entry.
Arriving by Sea? Prepare Your MDAC
Travellers subject to MDAC requirements should also prepare an MDAC when arriving through a Malaysian seaport.
Have your passport details, expected arrival date, arrival port and accommodation details ready.
Our MDAC assistance service supports customers preparing for different arrival routes.
Travelling to Malaysia Again? Prepare for Your Next Entry
MDAC information relates to a particular arrival in Malaysia. A previous MDAC should not be treated as covering all future journeys.
If you leave Malaysia and return for another visit, prepare for the new entry and follow the MDAC requirements applicable to that journey.
Travelling as a Family or Group?
Our group application covers up to 10 travellers, with one combined payment.
When travellers share the same arrival and accommodation arrangements, those shared details can be entered once. Each traveller still provides their own passport details.
If someone has a different arrival date, arrival point or accommodation, their details should reflect their own plans.
Before You Travel
- Your passport details match your passport.
- Your intended arrival date is confirmed.
- Your arrival airport, border crossing or seaport is identified.
- Your accommodation details are current.
